“Building places for you to enjoy with those you love!”
Our passion is building ponds, pondless waterfalls, bubbling rocks, and any type of waterscape where people can gather around while the moving water soothes away the worries of the day. We like patios too! We also do all the normal landscaping like plants, maintenance, snow removal and retaining walls.

What to expect when working with Inspired Design Landscapes,
Inc.
We are the contractors who respond! You are welcome to communicate
with us via phone, text or email. With our on-staff horticulturist, focus
on relationships, efficiency and love for the outdoors, you will have
a landscape you can be proud of. We do our best to minimize the impact
on your yard so you can enjoy it more quickly. Even though you may become
nervous half-way through the project, your yard will be left looking clean
and professional.
When you invite us out for a consultation, we will listen to your needs and wishes as we walk through your yard identifying problem areas and suggest ideas. We will discuss whether you need a formal landscape plan and may provide ballpark pricing for any suggested plan. We offer our consulting service for only $30.
If a formal plan is needed, we will set a time to return, bringing with us a formal landscape design, 3-D images where possible, and a break-down in pricing for the various projects discussed. There is no charge for this second consultation. Our plans can be purchased starting at $100, which may be applied towards your landscape installation.
Once the design is agreed on, we ask a 50% down payment. The remaining cost is graduated depending on the size of the project. If you sign a pre-spring contract, you can lock in your start date with a 15% down payment.
Products for your yard will come from various distributors, some of
which include Gertens
in Inver Grove Heights, Hedberg
Landscape and Masonry supplies in Plymouth, Rock
Gardens Landscape and Nursery Supplies in Lino Lakes and D-Rock
Center in New Brighton.
We look forward to serving you!

Inspired Design Landscapes, Inc. Community Involvement:
Through IDL, we have been able to return to the community in the following
ways:
1) We help with the local community garden. There was no public water
supply near the garden, so we had fun setting up a rain water harvesting
system. This year promises to be more fruitful.
2) Last summer we thought it would be fun to have chickens for our girls, so we bought chicks barely bigger than the eggs they hatched from. We were excited to see how our chickens created new friendships and strengthened old ones! Many people stopped in every week to feed the chickens including neighbors, students, friends, and the local daycare. Even the mayor stopped by once. Everyone has enjoyed watching them grow. So yes, we can even build chicken coops for you! We’ll even throw in some instructions on how to keep it neat and tidy. They do require maintenance, but are still a lot of fun.
3) We build relationships through Financial Peace University. We are big fans of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University and have hosted the 12 week class twice. It is so exciting to see others get out of debt, learn how to manage their money, and invest wisely! We aren’t financial experts but empowering others with FPU is just one more way to build up others around us so they can enjoy the best life has to offer!
Where we came from:
Inspired Design Landscapes Inc. started seven years ago with a van and
a shovel. Why did we do it? Jeff wanted to be outside, not trapped inside
on the 20th floor of the US Bank Plaza sitting at a desk in down town
Minneapolis. He enjoyed the people and is grateful there are people that
enjoy this type of work! His background in construction, automotive mechanics,
computer programming and networking have been quite useful in operating
a small business. Becky was already a practicing designer with a degree
in horticulture from the University of Minnesota and has been in the green
industry her whole life (well, since age 15). Our goal is to build beautiful,
fun places for you to enjoy with those you love! We have been learning
and building in Maple Grove, Plymouth, Edina, Minneapolis, Bloomington,
and other parts of the greater Minneapolis, St. Paul area for seven years
and have gone from “green” business owners to the contractor
who calls you back.
