We can design and build ponds of all shapes and sizes. Our designs are natural-looking, kid- and pet-friendly, and promote a balanced ecosystem. We are eager to listen to customer preferences and recommendations.
If you want a waterfall, but not the pond, no worries! We love building waterfalls, and are great at installing pondless waterfalls. That way you can enjoy the beauty of the water when you want to. You can turn your bubbling waterfall on when you are outside and shut it off when you want to. If you prefer crashing waterfalls, show us your location and we’ll see what we can do. We like to keep waterfalls relative to your landscape.
There are several water feature styles on the market but here are the
basics. There is no such thing as two identical water features- every
water feature is unique.
- Pond- an actual pool, properly done, which has a filtering system
and natural ecosystem to control problems like bacteria and algae growth.
Most fun if you have pet fish too! Full sun can accelerate algae growth, so ask us about the IonGen from Aquascape.
- Pondless- usually a waterfall with a catch basin under the decorative
rock/garden etc to filter and recycle the water. These are very easy
to maintain since the underground basin does most of the filtering.
Any autumn leaves can just be scooped or blown off the rock surface.
- Small fountains (Fountainscapes) are boulders, pots, ceramics, and
sculptures with water bubbling through or over them into an underground
basin which filters and re-circulates the water. The smaller the water
features usually equates to lower cost (unless you are installing a
Van Gogh Sculpture!) with the sight and sound of water. These are very
fun to have near entry doors or small patios.
- Rainwater harvesting- collection and filtering of rain runoff from a house or garage. Collected rain water can be stored in a decorative barrel or underground in a catch basin. Underground storage has potential to be quite large (and can be built in a way that allows traffic on its surface). Typically stored and used for gardens or small projects, rainwater harvesting also can be hooked up to your irrigation system or used in your pond or waterfall!
Looking for ways to add water to your landscaping or harvest it for later use?
You want to save water, but who wants a big blue or white plastic rain-barrel in their yard? Did you know that you can turn eco-friendly into eye-friendly? By letting us design a Rain Exchange rainwater harvest system for you, you can turn your patio, waterfall, or any open space into a place to store water!

We can create a custom water storage system that conserves as much of the run-off rain water from your roof and/or patio as possible and stores it underground. Harvested water will be stored based on your needs. Let us do the technical part, you can use the water for your pond or garden instead of letting it runoff down the lawn, into the street, or back to the river. It’s up to you to decide what you would like to do with that water! Do you want to use it to irrigate your lawn or garden? Or, let us design a rain garden, a waterfall, or a beautiful pond.
We use Aquascape Inc products for our water gardening supplies.Inspiration to Installation! If you want do-it-yourself landscape plans or you want us to install your system for you, contact us and we’ll be happy to help out with your needs!
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your landscaping experience!
